In case of severe weather, the official announcement for an emergency school closing will be made. Our student body lives in many school districts; therefore, HPS will never announce a “school delay.” We will either open on schedule or close school for the entire day.

HPS will determine on closing independently of other school districts. Additionally, you may call 614-382-1111, option 2, during inclement weather for a recorded message regarding our school closing. Finally, announcements can also be heard over the following local broadcasting stations:
