Food Services Department Updates

Here are a few updates and reminders from the Food Services Department:

Good news - as of today, our food prices will remain the same as they were in the Spring of last school year!

We will continue to be participants of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) for 2023-2024.  The meal will be provided daily and consists of meal patterns that require daily and weekly quantities of the following food components for lunch: milk, fruits, vegetables, grains, and meats/meat alternatives, and milk, fruits, and grains for breakfast.

The lunch cost is $3.00 per student.  The breakfast cost is $2.00 per student.

The a la Carte lunch options are only available for Middle School & Upper School Students.  Students must pay by cash or card in order to purchase a la carte food items.  Menu items vary by day and is a completely separate program from the NSLP offerings and pricing structure.

For families interested in learning about the Free & Reduced Lunch Options, should click here to learn more.  Completed applications should be submitted to Kelstin Conley, our National School Lunch Program Coordinator at harveyk@breakthrough.net.

Students are not authorized to purchase food from outside vendors (ie. Door Dash) and parents should not order food and have it delivered to the school, as any food items delievered to the main HPS doors will remain with the security officer until the 3:00pm bell.  Please plan accordingly.
